PROGRAMME

HRaaS Framework

To establish the effectiveness of customising and using existing affordable humanoid robots and disinfection service robots to a Welsh and global context for the EUREKA Healthcare Robotics as a Service (HRaaS) Framework development, intending to reduce transmission of COVID-19 in clinical and home healthcare setting. In order to achieve this we will thoughtfully tailor and integrate bionic robotic models (14 units in total) in Llandough Hospital, Infection Prevention Control Committee, Cardiff & Vale University Health Board, Duffryn Ffwrd Manor and a control group, ALTY Hospital for intelligent care and hospitality provision, while maintaining safe social distancing and healthcare services. The programme is led by EUREKA Robotics Centre, Cardiff Metropolitan University.
